"What's Your Problem, Kid?"
Who is the main character in this story, what problem does he encounter, and how does he react?
Rufus he has a monster in his closet . And he call his dad but nobody said nothing . and Rufus saw two eyes in his closet . And he put the cover over him . And he had react like the monster was going to get him and he will be scared .
Rufus was the main character Rufus had A monster in his closet . he call his dad, but the did not answer in he got scared in his dad said cut off the light.

Welcome to Character's Corner! This is my fourth year teaching third grade, my second year teaching in Chicago, and my first year teaching at Dumas. Before I lived in Chicago, I lived and taught in New York City.
One thing I've learned from teaching in several different states at several different schools is the importance of reading! If a child is interested in and a capable reader all other subjects will be much less of a challenge.
An easy, fun, but important way for students to improve as readers is to think deeply about their characters as they get to know them. That is the purpose of Character's Corner, I hope you enjoy.
